Recipes and cycles
Repeatable temperature, ventilation and time settings for a given process. A library and versioning of the recipes assigned to the installation.
PRISMATEC CONTROL 2 / LICENSING PLATFORM
The new generation of PRISMATEC CONTROL for booth manufacturers and integrators. Local automation, operator panel and installation management services in a single product architecture.
PRODUCT MODEL
The partner supplies the equipment and hardware integration. PRISMATEC develops a common software platform, configured and licensed for each specific installation.
We match the range of functions to the booth equipment and process requirements. The manufacturer can build further equipment configurations on a common software foundation, with structured management of versions, licences and service.
Below we present the target scope of the platform, which is currently under development.

CONTROL AND PROCESS
Preparation, painting, flash-off, drying and cooling form a process with defined parameters and conditions for transitioning between stages.
Repeatable temperature, ventilation and time settings for a given process. A library and versioning of the recipes assigned to the installation.
Current equipment status, process stage, parameters and alarms in a consistent interface. The range of available functions depends on the booth configuration.
Equipment control and responses to installation signals are handled locally. Remote services complement operation with data, distribution of settings and diagnostics.
PRISMATEC CONNECT
We are developing remote services for the booth user, the service team and the equipment manufacturer — with access appropriate to their role.
Installation status, parameter trends, cycles and alarms as the basis for process analysis and event diagnosis.
Equipment identification, assignment of function scope and controlled distribution of signed software packages.
A shared view of connected equipment and access to its history. The data helps prepare service interventions and assess recurring problems.
VISION MODULES IN DEVELOPMENT
Local image analysis extends the controller data with context from the booth interior and the course of the process.
Detection of the presence of people, objects and door states, currently in development, as an additional source of information for process supervision.
A development direction combining air temperature with thermal imaging of surfaces to support the assessment of heating uniformity.
The intended connection of cycle data with the job context in SmartBooth and the process plan from Scan2spray.
The scope of the modules depends on the equipment and validation of the given installation. Vision analysis does not replace the required machine safety measures.
GOOD TO KNOW
Answers to questions about selecting and commissioning the system.
Basic handles local booth operation and has confirmed deployments. CONTROL 2 is a platform in development for multiple equipment configurations: with a full licensing model, recipes, telemetry and Connect services.
The product model is based on cooperation with various manufacturers and integrators. Equipment compatibility, the range of functions and responsibility for commissioning are agreed for each specific configuration.
The starting point is the equipment documentation, the equipment variants and a description of the cycle. On this basis, we define the integration, the licence scope, the prototype and the acceptance criteria.
